What I do
Our senses are our gateway to the world...
... they are the interface between our body and the outside world. In my work, I activate and intensify sensory experiences, which leads to a deeper understanding of our environment and enables better access to ourselves and the reality of our lives. I work with our body awareness and the feelings associated with it. I work with artistic approaches to achieve new levels of perception and a change of perspective. I work with spaces that I design or visit so that a comprehensive physical experience becomes possible.
Concepts and themes such as mindfulness, tenderness and the ability to relate accompany me.
Questions that I ask:
How do we look at and into the world and what do we consciously perceive? How intensely do we experience our environment and how does this experience affect our quality of life? How can we activate our senses and thus perceive our lives more comprehensively and make them more conscious and meaningful?
